David Banks is a multi-genre musical songwriter whose career in the music industry began in the late 70s. After signing to A&M Records, he was released as a Punk artist under the name Shrink. From there, he released his single “Valid or Void,” which featured on a compilation album alongside bands like The Police. Afterward, he was signed to Hit & Run Records, managed by Tony Smith, Peter Gabriel’s manager. During this time, David toured with Kim Wylde in the 80s.

His music has been featured in various media, from popular shows such as Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Storage Wars, and Container Wars, to documentaries such as When Sharks Attack and Arctic Wolves. Additionally, David is widely recognized for his contribution to the European music scene, having written a Trance tune for DJ Dado, who achieved a number one hit in the 90s with The X-Files. David’s music is a unique blend of Orchestra and Choir sounds along with Electronic, Dubstep, Rock, and Hip Hop elements.
